About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated individual to provide evidence based Positive Behaviour Support to participants in the NDIS and their key stakeholders. Reporting to the Manager, Behaviour Support you will work with a range of clients, with the goal that they will live life well.

Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans
Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices
Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Core Responsibilities

Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans

Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions after assessment and diagnosis

Provide training, support and clinical supervision of Behaviour Support Practitioners/Behaviour Therapists

Use behavioural, psychological and evidence-based theories to develop and implement program designs and interventions

Develop and maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholders

Adhere to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements
Essential
-
Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support e.g. Psychology or relevant field.

Must have at least 1 year work experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Demonstrated and practical time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment

High level of oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports

Compliance checks including the NDIS Workers Screening Check, NDIS Self-Assessment, NDIS Practitioner ID, National Criminal History Check and any relevant State-issued WWCC/WWVP cards

COVID19 Vaccination Digital Certificate, inclusive of mandated booster vaccinations as directed by State Government and NDIS mandates

Valid Driver Licence

Pay: $83,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
